Day shift: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM or 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Surgical Services will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in circulating for orthopedic, podiatry, gynecological, and general/laparoscopic surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care of patients.
• Perform circulating duties during surgical procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in on-call duties as required, rotating 1-2 days per week and one weekend per month.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room settings, with a focus on orthopedic surgeries.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system is preferred.
