Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Your expertise will directly benefit a small caseload of 2-12 students in grades 6-8, helping to strengthen their foundational math and reading skills. The assignment runs from August 5, 2026, through May 25, 2027, providing a full academic year dedicated to student advancement. Interviews are being scheduled quickly, ensuring you can secure your spot for the upcoming year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience supporting students in math and reading across grades 6-8
- Knowledge of IEPs and ability to adapt instruction for individual learning needs
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction tailored to individual student needs in math and reading
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Maintain accurate records on student progress and participate in school meetings
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians
