We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a Primary Care practice in Smyrna, GA. This role provides back-office clinical support and direct patient care in a busy outpatient setting.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5 PM
Pay: $20–$21/hour (DOE)
Responsibilities:
- Check vitals, room patients, and update Electronic Health Records (Athena).
- Prepare exam rooms, sterilize clinical instruments, and assist with minor procedures.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens, blood draws, and point-of-care tests.
- Commute between designated regional branch clinics as operational needs dictate.
Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant (NHA, AMT, AAMA, etc.)
- Bilingual Spanish/English required
- Medical Assistant diploma + HS diploma/GED
- BLS/CPR required
- EMR/EHR experience
- Background check, drug screen, MMR & Hep B Immunity
- TB test done within the last year
Patient Population: Primarily adult and geriatric (may include pediatric)
