As a receiving clerk, you will communicate with inbound drivers to ensureKey Responsibilities:* Communicate with inbound drivers* Verify documentation for product received, Bills of Lading, and receiving documentation (Warehouse receiving documents, purchase orders, date codes, pallet verification report, and receiving exception report)* Notify Supervisor of major discrepancies, before product is received* Properly document inbound carriers in Receiving Log* Post receive purchase orders* Prepare the Receiving Exception Report daily* Coordinate with receiver and unloader on priority of Dock Door assignments and driver contact* Assist with collection of freight handling fees, late delivery fees, check approvals for these amounts and issue receipts* Compile end of shift receiving/inventory debrief* Check APT to ensure team members time and performance are accurate* Properly document outbound trailers in shipping log* Promptly report damage and all inventory discrepancies* Maintain all food safety, housekeeping, and other applicable standards* Cross-train to cover Shipping Clerk functions as needed* Other duties as assignedQualifications:* High school diploma or GED. College coursework, continuing technical education or comparable business experience is a plus* Receiving or warehouse experience preferred* Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred* Accuracy and attention to detail* Ability to use email, word-processing, spreadsheets, WMS and other applications* Ability to accommodate flexible schedules to meet the needs of the member to include nights, weekends, and holidaysEnvironmental Job Conditions:* Independently lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally* Sit, stand, walk bend, squat on a frequent to continual basis in a refrigerated warehouse environment* Grasp, reach, push or pull (such as boxes of product, or a hand truck) on a frequent basis* Endurance for continuous, fast paced work* Fluctuating temperatures within the perishable DC including freezing temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit* Able to work while wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the job (such as steel-toed protective footwear, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, insulated clothing, etc)* Products may contain food allergens (such as fish, shellfish, peanuts, etc.)* Utilize equipment for the job safely and accurately after training (such as computer, handheld tracker, copiers, scanners, printers, radio headsets, etc.In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.
