Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Valid licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
• Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings is strongly preferred
• Proficient with ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, oxygen delivery systems, and airway management
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care treatments to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Perform diagnostic tests including arterial blood gases and pulmonary function studies
• Administer aerosolized medications and chest physiotherapy as prescribed
• Respond rapidly to emergency calls such as code blue situations, providing airway management and life support interventions
• Assist with endotracheal intubations and maintain artificial airways
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and equipment usage
• Accurately document treatments, assessments, and responses in the medical record
