We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers in Montgomery, Alabama. This Contract position is ideal for someone who excels at creating a welcoming environment while managing front office operations with efficiency. The role supports daily business services activities by coordinating reception coverage, handling incoming communications, and ensuring smooth interactions for guests, clients, and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome visitors, clients, and staff with a courteous and attentive approach while maintaining an organized front desk area.

• Manage a multi-line phone system, direct incoming calls to the appropriate contacts, and take accurate messages when needed.

• Provide concierge-style assistance by answering general questions and helping guests navigate the office environment.

• Monitor front office activity to ensure guests are received promptly and routed according to company procedures.

• Support day-to-day administrative needs such as scheduling assistance, basic correspondence, and coordination of office communications.

• Maintain clear records of visitor traffic, call activity, and front desk interactions to support efficient office operations.

• Prior experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer-facing administrative role.
• Ability to operate a multi-line phone or switchboard system with confidence and accuracy.
• Strong verbal communication skills and an effective phone manner when handling inbound calls.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver courteous guest support and concierge-style service.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage several tasks at once in a busy office setting.
• Proficiency with basic office technology and standard administrative procedures.
