Neurology/Critical Care APP | University of Arizona | Phoenix The Department of Neurology at Banner - University Medicine Phoenix is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP), either an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), to join our dynamic Neurocritical Care team. This exceptional opportunity is ideal for APPs who are passionate about providing patient-centered care, contributing to the education of clinical skills, and promoting collaboration among healthcare professionals. We welcome applications from both experienced APPs and recent graduates ready to embark on a fulfilling career in Neurocritical Care. Minimum Requirements: Must have a current or ability to obtain, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Arizona. Must have certification from a recognized board (AANP, ANCC for NPs). DEA license, BLS, ACLS certification. Preferably at least two years of experience or a strong clinical background in Neurocritical Care. This position is currently for night shifts only. Essential Functions: Provide comprehensive care to neurocritical care patients in collaboration with neurocritical care physicians and the healthcare team. Manage a daily patient load of 12-15, offering both critical care and support to patients and their families. Participate in the educational endeavors of the department, including the training and supervision of nursing staff, residents, and medical students. Banner Benefits: You take care of others.
