Plumbing Service Technician

Commercial Plumbing TechnicianSuperior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide provider of skilled commercial services specializing in retail, grocery, and convenience store projects. We deliver excellence in commercial tenant improvements, remodels, and 24/7 service supported by our dedicated dispatch team.We are seeking a commercial plumbing technician to join our plumbing service team. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of recent commercial plumbing experience in new construction, tenant improvement projects, or commercial service and be available to work third-shift hours. A company vehicle and gas card are provided to support travel between jobsites and other field operations.ScheduleMonday - Friday10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.Overtime available but not guaranteedResponsibilitiesDemo and replace plumbing piping, including PVC, ABS, cast iron (no-hub), and/or copperMount new fixtures according to manufacturer specifications and applicable municipal codesInstall and repair grease traps, sump pumps, sanitary waste systems, water systems, and utilities within a commercial retail environmentComplete light construction repairs or installations on drywall, tile and trimPerform manual labor to clean and prepare jobsites, including (but not limited to) digging trenches, setting braces to support excavation sides, erecting scaffolding, and removing rubble, debris, and other waste materialsProperly use equipment such as jackhammers and saw cuttersRead and layout work from blueprints, plans, and isometric drawingsWork in accordance with current OSHA safety guidelines and company policiesDrive company issued vehicles in accordance with company policiesAccurately record commute and travel time as required. Technicians may be eligible for paid drive time upon meeting qualification requirementsWillingness to take on additional duties as needed to support the departmentRequirementsMinimum of four years of recent and relevant commercial plumbing experienceValid driver license with no more than two points or driving restrictions on the driving recordAbility to pass a pre-employment drug testVerbal and written English literacy for the use of cell phone and mobile email communicationSuperior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a commercial service and construction company with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality electrical and plumbing solutions across California and other states.
