Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Foreman to oversee construction projects and manage on-site operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to coordinate various tasks effectively. As a Foreman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
- Manage project scheduling using tools.
- Oversee budgeting processes and ensure project costs remain within established limits.
- Collaborate with contractors to ensure contract specifications are met.
- Provide training and mentorship to crew members to enhance their skills.
- Conduct regular inspections of work progress and quality control.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline construction processes and techniques.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software.
- Familiarity with budgeting practices related to construction projects.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings.
- Experience with construction management tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- A commitment to maintaining high safety standards on the job site.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
