Mechanical EngineerMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team working in Crane, IN. This will be a hybrid role requiring 4 days onsite per week. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition concepts into production while managing a diverse group of engineering, drafting, and technical writing professionals; and drive the lifecycle of complex mechanical designs as a technical leader for several Radar systems.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Synchronize with technical teams and government clients to engineer and implement premier solutions for the Radar Technologies DivisionDrive the successful delivery of complex technical projects from conception to completionSynchronize project interdependencies and oversee the end-to-end development of task order deliverables to ensure full SOW complianceDiagnose complex technical challenges and partner with cross-functional teams to engineer and deploy effective solutionsManage the full lifecycle of organizational requirements, including the development, maintenance, and optimization of core management processesDefine and govern project requirements throughout the contract term, optimizing the prioritization and capture process for technical accuracyInterface with system users to elicit requirements and architect comprehensive designs for hardware and software integrationContribute to the design and implementation of comprehensive test strategies to ensure system reliability and performanceProvide expert-level technical resolution for intricate problems, bridging the gap between existing documentation and mission-specific requirementsAnalyze and optimize intricate signal flows and circuit interrelationships through the expert application of high-frequency pulse generators and complex diagnostic hardwareMinimum Qualifications:2+ years of experience in support of information technology and project management activitiesBachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical disciplinePreferred Qualifications:Experience utilizing SolidWorks for 3D modeling, assembly management, and the creation of detailed manufacturing drawings.Experience leveraging SolidWorks Flow Simulation or Simulation Professional to perform integrated thermal and structural FEA (Finite Element Analysis).Experience performing comprehensive thermodynamic analysis for complex systems, including heat transfer (conduction, convection, radiation) and fluid flow.Clearance Requirements:Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain an active United States Government Secret security clearance.Candidate will be required to obtain an interim Secret clearance before onboardingPhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time.Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
