Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Clinical Nurse (MS ONC) Chapel Hill, North Carolina
The organization is seeking a competent Clinical Nurse to provide nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 8 shift hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); Nursing Diploma or ADn (ADN)/Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of nursing; 1 year of nursing experience; location: Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
• Preferred Qualifications: Radiation oncology experience; Cancer RN experience.
• Additional Information: Performs bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plans; supports patient and family education and assesses readiness to learn; synthesizes complex assessment data to determine priorities for care and anticipates discharge needs; reads journals to identify studies or articles applicable to practice; supports a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment for all.
