An international AmLaw 50 firm is seeking an experienced Product Liability Attorney (Practice Attorney) to join its nationally recognized Products Liability & Complex Litigation practice . This is a non-partnership-track position designed for a senior-level attorney who thrives in a sophisticated litigation environment and values autonomy, collaboration, and high-level client service. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes matters for industry-leading clients across a broad range of cutting-edge sectors. Candidate Profile JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record Active Bar Admission in state in which candidate resides and either Washington or California, in good standing 15+ years of substantive experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation Extensive experience defending manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors in product liability and toxic tort matters Demonstrated ability to manage cases with a high degree of independence Strong background in drafting briefs, correspondence, and written discovery responses Experience overseeing document collection, review, and production Familiarity with causation analysis and failure analysis Experience with multidistrict litigation (MDL) and/or coordinated state proceedings Excellent written and oral advocacy skills Strong work ethic, sound judgment, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach Large law firm experience strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Defend product manufacturers, suppliers, and resellers in complex product liability and toxic tort litigation Serve as a key contributor on national and global litigation teams, including MDLs and coordinated proceedings Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and client correspondence Manage day-to-day case responsibilities with minimal supervision Coordinate document discovery processes, including collection, review, and production Analyze technical, scientific, and causation-related issues central to product liability claims Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and clients to develop and execute litigation strategy Why Join Us? Compensation & Benefits Competitive Salary : annual salary range of $170,000 - $200,000 , commensurate with experience and other market factors Discretionary merit bonus eligibility .
