Computer Aided Design Manager

Insight Global is seeking a CAD Manager for a top engineering client. This candidate will lead and oversee CAD operations, ensuring high-quality drafting standards and efficient workflows across projects. The role involves managing CAD systems, mentoring team members, and collaborating closely with engineering and project management teams to meet deadlines and deliver accurate designs. This individual will play a key role in driving process improvements, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and enhancing overall productivity within a fast-paced engineering environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Technical Certificate or Associate Degree in Computer-Aided Drafting
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and drafting techniques
• 6+ years of drafting experience
• 1-2+ years of CAD team management experience
• Working knowledge of structural and basic electrical systems
• Strong analytical and 3D visualization skills
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Teams
