Controls Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing, is seeking a Controls Engineer - Franklin, OH plant to join their team. As a Controls Engineer - Franklin, OH plant, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting manufacturing and automation teams. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Controls Engineer - Franklin, OH plant

Location: Franklin, Ohio

Pay Range: $33- $40 Hourly

What's the Job?

• Provide controls and electrical engineering support to the assigned UAP cell and maintenance efforts.

• Become an expert to assist maintenance in troubleshooting and supporting the plant UAP through problem-solving methodologies.

• Aim to eliminate downtime and decrease quality defects to enhance customer satisfaction.

• Write, create, and modify programs to meet plant objectives using automation tools.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and automation systems.

What's Needed?

• Minimum education level: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Technical Discipline; or 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer.

• Manufacturing experience, preferably in the automotive industry.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD (electrical and mechanical) and Allen Bradley software and programming.

• Ability to troubleshoot PLC programs effectively.

• Experience leading and managing automation of manufacturing processes.
