Job Description

As a Security Officer - Operations Center Unarmed in Chandler AZ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology media and telecommunications location you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols help deter incidents through a visible presence and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while helping maintain a welcoming secure environment. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors contractors and employees at a technology media and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings data center-adjacent areas parking facilities access points and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity hazards and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; document observations and notify site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete detailed activity logs incident reports and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence at a fast-paced technology location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
