Our organization is looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Child Psychiatrist to become part of our team at the Behavioral Medicine Center within the Department of Psychiatry. This role entails providing onsite weekend inpatient care for child behavioral health units, along with concurrent call coverage.

The work schedule can be either intermittent or regularly scheduled, depending on the needs of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing inpatient rounds and addressing acute psychiatric conditions, with or without the involvement of residents and/or nurse practitioners.

• Responding to calls and assisting psychiatric residents in managing cases.

• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team.

• Offering supervision or consultation to residents and/or nurse practitioners when they are present.

Responsibilities may be carried out independently or in collaboration with Nurse Practitioners, and in a training environment, may involve working with residents and/or students when available.

Compensation & Benefits

The listed compensation range is for initial base pay only and will be adjusted based on years of experience and/or faculty rank: $190 - $195 per hour. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to the specific compensation plans of the department. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
