Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes for therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies.
  
  
• 
  Calculate and administer appropriate doses of radioactive materials under radiologist supervision.
  
  
• 
  Perform intravenous injections following established protocols.
  
  
• 
  Conduct screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
  
  
• 
  Document all radioactive materials, surveys, and patient information accurately.
  
  
• 
  Coordinate patient preparation and communicate instructions to care teams.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current state Nuclear Medicine License in CA or HI.
  
  
• 
  Be registered by the ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or certified by NMTCB as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in CA or OR.
  
  
• 
  Possess venipuncture certification in CA and HI.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate at least two years of recent experience in the nuclear medicine field.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS certification and a valid nursing license per state.
  
  
• 
  Obtain facility-specific certifications such as HLFS.
