Requirements / Qualifications

Experience working in public health nursing and experience as a school nurse is desirable. Must possess a Bachelor's degree and current California R.N. Registration. A valid California Health and Development Credential authorizing service as a school nurse, a Service Credential with a specialization in health authorizing service as a nurse, or a School Nurse Services Credential must be in force and on file or qualify to apply for a valid California School Nurse Services credential. A valid active Health Care Provider CPR certification issued by an approved program. A valid active First Aid certification issued by an approved program.
