Job Details Job Location: Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute - LEAWOOD, KS 66211 Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute is a physician-owned, orthopedic hospital, serving the Kansas City area for 25 years. Join a team dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes and outstanding patient experience! We’re seeking a part-time Hospital Admissions Representative for our Surgery & Pain areas to work Mondays-Fridays from 2pm-6pm/7pm. Our Admissions Reps use whiteboard/dashboard/ER Express and or phone for notification of patient arrival/status. Responsibilities include: Opening and closing duties Greeting and registering patients Pre-registration Scheduling appointments Insurance Verifications Collecting and posting copays and deductibles Tracking visits and authorizations Preparing admissions paperwork Admitting patients We provide a robust benefits package, including: 6 company paid holidays Rich PTO Accruals Employer discretionary bonuses 401(K) with a substantial company match QualificationsExperience: Customer service: 1 year (Preferred) Medical Field: 1 year (Preferred) Excellent Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr
