responsibilities:

• Sort, centrifuge, aliquot, and prepare clinical specimens for laboratory testing.
• Perform fast-paced, accurate alphanumeric data entry to log specimen details.
• Safely transport processed specimens to designated laboratory departments.
• Strictly adhere to biohazard safety protocols, compliance regulations, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation to meet daily production and turnaround goals.

 
qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer literacy and strong typing skills (ability to enter 6,000 alphanumeric keystrokes/hour).
• Flexibility to work the night shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods in a biohazard laboratory environment.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a production, manufacturing, or laboratory setting.
• Familiarity with clinical medical terminology or specimen processing.
