Quality Control Lab Technician

Job Description Summary: TheQuality Assurance Lab Technician I provide assistance for the Quality Assurance laboratory with various Quality initiatives Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
- Assists in obtaining supplies and calibrating equipment;
- Analyzing production samples and raw material samples for physical and chemical characteristics;
- Investigates quality and production issues including customer complaints per supervisor requests;
- Prepare samples for internal and external customers as requested;
- Maintains quality production records in a timely manner;
- High School or GED desired;
- Two (2) years' Manufacturing or Lab experience, a plus;
- Bilingual (Required)
- Demonstrated high level of computer experience;
- Demonstrated good communication skills;
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure;
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals;
- Ability to learn to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
