Equipment Operator II - Cemetery, Structures & Grounds

Job TitleSkilled manual work in the operation of specialized and heavy equipment and other public works vehicles and in performing construction, internment, and maintenance activities; all other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma and three years experience in public works construction and maintenance activities including the operation of heavy and specialized equipment; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.CDL Class A unrestricted drivers license required.Massachusetts Class 2A, 1C and 4G Hoisting Licenses.Additional Qualifications:Working knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques. Responsible for observing required safety precautions. Knowledge of cemetery layout and lot locations.Ability to perform heavy manual labor under varying weather conditions.
