Fiber Technician

We are seeking experienced Fiber Splicing Technicians to support a fiber infrastructure project in Temple, TX. This role will focus on ribbonized fiber splicing, OTDR testing, and light source/power meter testing to ensure high-quality fiber installations and network performance. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of fiber splicing experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment. This project is expected to run through December 4 and requires a commitment to a six-day work schedule. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Minimum 2-3 years of fiber splicing experience Proven experience with ribbonized fiber splicing Experience using: OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) Light source/power meter testing equipment Ability to work independently and maintain quality standards in a production environment CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Must successfully pass a drug screening Must possess OSHA 10 certification Schedule: Monday - Satuday Compensation: $23/hr to $35/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
