Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited program of Occupational Therapy.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required.
- Outpatient and hand-based therapy experience preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients referred for occupational therapy.
- Develop and implement treatment plans and measurable goals in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team.
- Reassess and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes timely to support compliance with insurance and review processes.
- Utilize appropriate occupational therapy techniques and modalities based on patient diagnoses.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and ancillary departments.
