Work Environment

As a physical therapist in our center, you will benefit from a structured work schedule Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their individual goals and functional limitations related to orthopedic conditions.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices to improve patients' mobility and overall physical health.
• Apply manual therapy techniques and execute exercise protocols to help enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Educate patients on therapeutic exercises and lifestyle modifications to promote independence and reduce reliance on medication or surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide integrative care for patients, ensuring effective communication regarding treatment progress and necessary adjustments.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust care plans based on patient feedback and progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in continuous professional development and attend trainings to stay current with the latest treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients who have orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, arthritis, and musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will be critical in guiding patients through their recovery journeys, addressing their unique challenges, and empowering them to regain their independence and active lifestyles.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• An active state license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is necessary.
• An unblemished professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license is essential.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development is required.

Preferred Experience

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Experience in a rehabilitation center or outpatient clinic focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated success in patient outcomes through effective treatment plans and methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for continuing education.
