Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, BLS Must-Have: IV skills EKG skills Triage acuity training Description: Data Collection: 9/18/2026 Unit Information: Number of Beds: 9 Number of Staff: 3 RNs per shift with 1 mid-shift RN/Tech Day Shift: 3 RNs Mid Shift: 1 RN/Tech Night Shift: 3 RNs Patient Ratios: 4 to 1 based on acuity 1 to 1 if needed for acuity Type of Equipment: IV pumps Point of Care lab machines EKG machine EMR: Meditech Expanse Typical Hiring Profile: Candidates must have IV skills and EKG skills. Triage acuity training is a requirement. Preferred skills include ENPC and CPI. Typical Procedures Performed: All labs run by staff onsite Flu, COVID, strep swabs IV placement Foley catheter placement EKGs Moderate sedation Best Personality Fit: Team player Flexible with assignments Floating Areas: Main Emergency Room Other offsite Freestanding Emergency Rooms Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies: Rotating weekends or four weekend days per schedule (Saturday and Sunday).
