LN Venues, Operations Manager - North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre

Job Overview This role is an exempt Operations Manager reporting directly to the General Manager, responsible for managing all aspects of venue operations and maintenance, including front‑of‑house operations, preventive maintenance, third‑party contracting, government relationships, staffing, set‑up/tear‑down, and day‑of‑show operations. Responsibilities Ensure that all outstanding tasks are handled personally or delegated appropriately. Recruit, hire, train and supervise part‑time staff and supervisors of multiple departments (Security, Maintenance, Cleaning, Usher/Ticket Taker). Develop and oversee overhead expense budgets for repairs, maintenance and venue supply expenses. Assist the General Manager in preparing the annual operations budget. Maintain and monitor incident reports, investigate pending cases, interview staff or witnesses, and attend arbitration hearings when necessary. Ensure optimum operating condition of all facility equipment, including traffic control and crowd control devices. Investigate and resolve guest‑related complaints. Implement and execute Live Nation policies, procedures and programs, ensuring company standards are maintained. Create and implement recruiting programs for seasonal event staff. Manage event staff new‑hire onboarding, training for in‑sourced positions, and ongoing development. Commit to providing a safe and enjoyable facility for guests and employees. Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, police, fire, rescue, traffic and other departments. Coordinate and manage approved subcontractors and third‑party vendors to ensure safe, efficient and successful events. Effectively manage and approve all payroll for in‑house departments. File all required governmental reports. Ensure execution of all operating department compliance policies and procedures. Be present onsite for day‑of‑show and non‑show operations. Qualifications Proven leader with strong management and communication skills. Extensive knowledge of venue operations and facility management. Minimum two years of experience as a House/Operations Manager or comparable role. Experience dealing with police and public officials. Experience managing multiple departments with large staff (Security, Ticket Takers, Ushers). Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience using Workday or other time‑keeping systems is a plus. Physical Demands / Working Environment Fast‑paced environment with moderate to loud noise level. Ability to lift up to 50 lb. Flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends, non‑show events). Requires extended periods of standing, bending, stooping, and use of radio earpiece for communication.
