This role sits at the intersection of consumer insight, performance data, creative thinking, and social culture. You'll shape what your clients say, who they're saying it to, and why it will work.Maverick Content Studio is a social and content agency helping the world’s best travel and tourism brands engage the next generation of fans. We fundamentally believe great content can build a brand, inspire people to explore and turn audiences into raving fans. Come help us create work people want to watch, share and experience. P.S. We are not looking for just any Social Media Manager. We’re looking for a plugged-in social strategist who wants to help build Maverick. What you'll own* Lead the development of content strategy and content calendars for clients, ensuring top-quality output, proper QA, and client satisfaction.* Operate as a top-tier social media post creative strategist, combining channel insights, cultural relevance, and audience engagement to build successful content.* Consistently contribute high-level, actionable creative ideas that stand out and attract engagement across various platforms.* Possess expert knowledge of the social media landscape (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X) to ensure content excellence and platform-specific strategies.* Manage social channels and communities with excellence, planning, creating, and scheduling content effectively while maintaining a creative tone of voice.* Collaborate daily with internal teams and clients, participating in ideation, brainstorming sessions, and deck creation to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.* Identify and apply creative and social trends to active client initiatives, continuously offering solutions and improvements.* Develop and maintain reporting dashboards, analyze client post-performance, and deliver business impact reports.* Support copywriting on content calendars and creative projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and creative strategies.* Audit and maintain all internal documentation related to client projects, ensuring consistency and accuracy in deliverables.What you bring:* 5-7+ years of Social Media experience, with time working in the Travel and Hospitality industry.* Strong writing and storytelling skills with a portfolio of social content or campaign copy.* Deep understanding of social platforms, storytelling formats, and audience engagement strategies.* Experience presenting social media strategies and performance results to clients and executive stakeholders.* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch strategies and plans confidently to clients and internal teams* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.* Obsessed with speed and quality, able to push for great work while adapting to tight deadlines and evolving priorities.Our culture: We live by three values.
