The Medical Assistant will perform the routine tasks needed to care for patients within the Centers for Family Health.QualificationsRequired:High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)Medical Assistant diploma or certificate of completion from a medical assistant training programCurrently certified as a Medical Assistant by a recognized certifying organization or eligible to sit for exam within 30 days of hire. Acceptable certifications are CMA, CCMA, NCMA, RMT, AAMA ABROE.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationPreferred:Bilingual in SpanishKnowledge of medical terminologyOverviewNationally Recognized.
