Role Description The Food Service Worker role at AAFES is an intermittent, on-site position located in Minot, ND. This role is responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages according to established recipes, portion standards, and safety guidelines. Daily tasks include maintaining a clean and sanitary work area, operating basic kitchen equipment, stocking supplies, and assisting with inventory rotation. The Food Service Worker greets and assists customers, takes orders, handles payments, and ensures a friendly, efficient service experience. This position also follows food safety and hygiene procedures, adheres to company policies, and supports team members to meet service and quality standards. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Food Preparation and Food Service to handle daily kitchen and serving tasks effectively. Candidates should possess skills in Food Safety to follow proper hygiene, storage, and handling procedures. Candidates should possess skills in Customer Service to interact courteously with guests and resolve basic concerns. Candidates should possess skills related to Food & Beverage operations to support menu execution and product quality. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry supplies, and work in a fast-paced environment. Basic math and cash-handling skills, with attention to accuracy and reliability. Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a diverse team.
