Back End Developer

Location: STRATCOM J2, Offutt AFB, NE

Minimum Clearance Required: Top Secret/ SCI

This role requires an active, fully-adjudicated US Government Security Clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. US Citizenship is required to hold a US Government security clearance. Candidates without the appropriate clearance are not eligible to be considered.

Travel: up to 10%

As a Back End Developer, you'll provide assistance and analytic support with aspects if knowledge management/web development and best practices for information sharing to support operations at USSTRATCOM. This role will support business process automation using tools such as O365 to streamline workflows, collate data, and optimize organizational processes. You will apply hands‑on development experience with JavaScript, Python, JSON, REST interfaces, and SQL to modify APIs and integrate backend capabilities, while using web design tools and workflow technologies to build customized forms and automate information collection. This role will manage data security requirements on classified networks, apply authentication protocols, support cloud‑based application development, integrate multiple data sources into unified dashboards, and conduct customer surveys to refine solutions for geographically dispersed users. You will also troubleshoot technical issues, perform administrative duties in a joint environment, train users on new applications, apply technology to improve business functions, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to senior leaders.

Who You Are and What You Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis or related field
  • OR equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in Data Analysis
• At least 3 years of experience with the following: O365, JavaScript, Python, JSON/JSONP, REST calls, SQL
• 3 years of experience with web design using Notepad++, SharePoint Designer or similar programs.
• Working knowledge of Visual Studio is a plus
• Ability to create workflows and web-based forms using XSLT, XSL-FO, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, shell scripting, and/or node.js
• 3 years' exposure and experience with DoD Data Security Management practices on classified networks.
• Security+ certification highly desired, but may substitute equivalent experience for the right candidate
• Ability to demonstrate data integration from 2 or more sources into a single location with dashboard with filter and search features. 

What You Will Do: 

• Build and conduct customer surveys to gather feedback and requirements to improve processes and applications to increase information sharing and collaboration among geographically separated organizations.
• Use analysis, problem solving, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues associated with individual web development efforts, web page rendering, latency and authentication/access issues.
• Administer web services for information management and knowledge management functions using Microsoft Office365 suite of applications.
• Train and educate customer base on existing, newly established, and implemented applications, to include documentation such as training materials, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and flowcharts.
• Use technology to streamline unique business processes for the overall benefit of an organization. Demonstrated experience with Information Management (IM) / KM intelligence tools, processes, and activities is highly desired
