Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in a 48-bed mixed acuity unit specializing in Neurology and Neurosurgery.
• Float frequently to meet staffing needs, including potential floating to other campuses within the facility.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6 nights for telemetry and manage care efficiently.
• Administer and manage drips, including Heparin, Insulin, and Nitro as required.
• Participate in weekend coverage, maintaining flexibility to fulfill 4 weekend shifts in an 8-week period.
• Ensure EPIC charting is utilized for all patients and maintain detailed and accurate reports.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license; pending Nebraska license accepted with restrictions.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a large, urban hospital or Level I trauma center.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system required.
• Certification required: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS.
• Experience in managing cardiac drips and dysrhythmia interpretations.
• Commitment to a 100% nicotine-free facility.
