Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Active North Carolina School Psychologist License required
• Strongly prefer prior experience working in school-based settings
• Proficient in conducting comprehensive psychological assessments
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Ability to establish rapport and advocate effectively for students
• Ready to work fully onsite; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available

Primary Responsibilities:

• Gather essential information to assess students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Facilitate interventions and recommendations tailored to individual student profiles
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families for student-centered support
• Maintain thorough and timely student records and documentation
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams
• Adhere to ethical standards and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional learning

This full-time position entails working 37.5 hours per week, with the contract extending through the end of the 2026-2027 school year. You will play an integral role as a trusted resource for students and colleagues, working onsite in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
