Process Improvement EngineerLocation: Pevely, MO, US, 63070Role Description: The Process Improvement Engineer supports a rapid and continuous improvement culture by becoming a process expert, identifying improvement opportunities, analyzing data, and helping to drive data-based decision-making. This role's primary responsibility is to improve plant performance.Responsibilities:Identify and pursue improvement opportunities both individually and as part of teamsDevelop expertise in multiple plant processesHelp identify opportunities for improvement to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Become the plant specialist regarding all relevant data sources and analysesHelp implement a culture of continuous improvement in the plantComply with environmental and food safety standards as set forth in plant policies and programs within the departmental responsibilitiesMinimum Skills/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related fieldWorking knowledge of various improvement methods and toolsSelf-motivated and passionate about process improvementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office SuitePrior experience with analytical software (i.e. JMP or Minitab)Preferred Skills/Qualifications:Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificationPrior experience working with group applications such as SAP and Business WarehouseAbout Ardagh Group:Ardagh Glass Packaging is a global leader in glass packaging solutions, producing packaging for the world's leading brands.
