PRN Cardiac Rehab Specialist

Job Title
Monitors, educates and counsels patients/participants enrolled in lifestyle modification programs such as cardiopulmonary rehab and other primary/secondary prevention programs. This is a PRN position.
Education
Bachelor's degree in health-related field (e.g., exercise science, nursing) required
Master's Degree preferred
Certification related to field (e.g., ACSM, ACE, AACUPR)
BLS certification through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date required
ACLS certification through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date preferred

Skills
Demonstrated ability in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and lifestyle modification skills
Demonstrated ability in interpersonal communication (verbal and written) skills.
Demonstrated ability in computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Experience
1-2 years of experience minimum
Diabetes Care/Prevention experience preferred.
Salary Range
$25.83- $ 37.98/hour + 14% PRN Differential Pay
Starting wage dependent upon experience, education, and skill set
