Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

Job Title: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Join an exceptional team at a dynamic neonatal care facility located in beautiful Jacksonville, Florida. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work across multiple hospitals, collaborating with a high-performing team dedicated to providing outstanding neonatal care. Enjoy a supportive clinical environment while living the coastal lifestyle that Jacksonville has to offer.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide neonatal care in Level II NICUs and normal newborn nurseries.
  • Work full-time with a mix of -hour shifts for optimal work-life balance.
  • Attend deliveries (no transport responsibilities required).
  • Deliver care across four partnering hospitals within the St. Vincent s Health System and HCA Hospitals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including 6 Neonatologists and 16 Advanced Practice Providers.
  • Function with a high level of autonomy, supported by in-house neonatologist coverage and on-call neonatologist backup.
  • Participate in a team-oriented, collegial environment.
  • Maintain high standards of neonatal care aligned with the organization s mission.
Qualifications:
  • APRN National Certification as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) REQUIRED
  • Master s Degree REQUIRED
  • Minimum of 1 year NNP experience REQUIRED
  • Florida APRN License (or willingness to obtain) REQUIRED
  • Clean Malpractice/License History PREFERRED
  • DEA License REQUIRED (must be obtained prior to start)
  • Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
  • APRN National Certification as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
  • Florida APRN License (or willingness to obtain)
  • DEA License
