Expeditor Position

Ascentec Engineering is seeking an Expeditor for our Dallas, Oregon facility who will be responsible for actively driving follow-up on urgent material, supplier, job, and production constraints that impact schedule execution and customer delivery commitments. This role supports planning, scheduling, purchasing, production, inventory control, and quality by identifying blockers, obtaining status updates, and helping move priority work through the system.

The Expeditor does not own the master schedule but plays a critical role in protecting the schedule by ensuring late, urgent, or constrained items receive timely attention and action. This position supports past due recovery, shortage resolution, job movement, PO follow-up, and escalation of issues that prevent production from executing as planned.

This position is on-site (not remote/not hybrid) and not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.

The following metrics and outcomes will be used to evaluate performance in this role:

• Timely follow-up on critical shortages, POs, and blocked jobs
• Improved visibility to urgent material and production constraints
• Reduction in unresolved or aging expedite items
• Support of past due backlog recovery
• Accurate and current status updates for priority items
• Faster escalation of issues impacting customer commitments
• Improved communication between planning, purchasing, production, quality, and receiving
• Reduction in schedule disruption caused by missed follow-up
• Contribution to documented processes and standard work

Compensation / Benefits:

• $23 to $28 per hour DOE
