General Job DescriptionThe function of the Assistant Manager is to serve customers in every aspect, maintain store stock and appearance, and complete sales using a point-of-sales system to sustain cash and inventory levels. A Team Lead demonstrates outstanding customer service and takes pride in the role they play on our team and on campus. We’re seeking a candidate who excels in a fast-paced setting, handling high volumes of packages and consistently meeting daily targets. Someone who likes variety, building relationships, and being outside in all seasons.Company ProfileSlingshot is a course material subscription service with the mission to provide all books for all students at an affordable price by the first day of class. The store teams are the link between Slingshot and the campus. While we are a “third party” entity, our goal is to engage the campus from within and we strive to integrate the Slingshot culture within our campus partners. Each team member has a defined role, but collaboration is an integral part of who we are. We often partner with other team members or campus representative to create unique solutions.
