Overview

Landform Fitness is looking for new team members who want to become experts in providing clients true personal fitness and not just a workout in an environment that is focused on the fitness journey and not continuous sales.

The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience and possess a strong foundation in physiology and anatomy, with the ability to design effective training programs tailored to individual client needs. As a Personal Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients achieve their fitness goals through personalized training sessions, group fitness classes, and ongoing support.

Duties

• Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions to assess client fitness levels and develop customized workout plans.
• Lead small group training (more exclusive than typical classes), ensuring a motivating and safe environment for participants.
• Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and injury prevention.
• Monitor client progress and adjust programs as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle choices that complement training programs.
• Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages clients to reach their health and fitness goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized training space while adhering to all safety protocols.

Experience

• One to three years of hands-on training or physical therapy experience
• NASM Certification preferred.
• Proven knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics is essential for effective program design.
• Experience in personal training or teaching physical education is highly desirable.
• Background in sports coaching is a plus, showcasing an ability to motivate individuals or groups.
• Physical therapy experience is very valuable.
• Ability to do mobility assessments during client intake and throughout their journey.
• Familiarity with group fitness instruction techniques is beneficial for leading classes.
• Familiarity with Momence client management platform is desirable.
• Ability to work nights (not past 8PM) and weekends highly preferred.
