divh2Job Description/h2pSchedule: This is a PRN position between 6:00am- 6:00pm/ppLocation: This position will support Rehab Services at the following locations:/pulliMorgan Hospital/liliBloomington Hospital/liliBedford Hospital/liliPaoli Hospital/li/ulpResponsibilities:/pulliThis position oversees patient flow from point of entry to destination and ensures timely, accurate and professional services./liliThis position is responsible for timely and accurate resolution of patients accounts./liliResponsibilities may include but are not limited to obtaining specific information to generate accurate financial and demographic records, insurance verification, prior authorization, and coordination of benefits./liliCommunicates with payers and patients to achieve accurate financial information./liliResponsible for accurate registration of patients, scheduling recurring appointments, answers incoming calls and directs patient and visitors appropriately./liliParticipates in operational aspects of the department and maintains performance improvement activities as required./liliParticipates in all infection control, department equipment training, regulatory compliance, organizational safety and fire safety programs./liliOrders, distributes and maintains designated and appropriate inventory of department related supplies./liliThe position adheres to departmental productivity, quality and service standards in support of operational goals./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliHigh School Diploma/GED is required./lili0-3 years Customer Service/Medical experience desired./liliMinimum one-year medical office experience or combination of extensive customer service work experience and education in insurance verification, patient registration and medical terminology preferred./liliRequires basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, TEAMS)/li/ul/div
