The Data Scientist will support enterprise data and analytics initiatives for a federal client, leveraging expertise in AI/ML development, advanced analytics, and automation to deliver mission-focused, scalable, and secure solutions. The role involves providing technical leadership, developing predictive and prescriptive models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align analytics capabilities with enterprise objectives. Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, modern AI/ML frameworks, and RPA tools are required.Key Responsibilities:Provide technical leadership on analytics and AI/ML solutions.Develop and deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics.Use Python, Anaconda, and Jupyter notebooks for modeling and prototyping.Collaborate with Data Engineers to integrate models with data pipelines.Support data governance activities (tagging, metadata management, and secure sharing).Develop RPA solutions to automate business processes.Evaluate and recommend analytics products to ensure mission alignment.Communicate findings through dashboards, visualizations, and technical reports.Qualifications:Active Secret clearance (mandatory requirement).Local Residency in Maryland, Virginia or Washington, DC.Bachelor's in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.4+ years of professional experience in data science and AI/ML.Strong expertise in Python, Jupyter, and Anaconda.Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).Experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Python-based).Familiarity with Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Clearance Requirement:Active Secret clearance (mandatory requirement).Benefits:At Makpar Corporation we understand that we all need to balance work and life – that is why we have a great benefits package, excellent training and career development opportunities, flexible work schedules along with a generous compensation package.
