Duties And Responsibilities Include doing psychiatric evaluations and follow ups, reviewing labs, monitoring blood levels, medication management, preparing discharges (physician orders, scripts). Provide support and resources to the clinical staff as needed. Coordinate with clinical staff and the primary care physician when appropriate. Coordinate and complete the peer review process. Other duties as assigned. Education, Experience Board Certified Psychiatric- Mental Health Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Psychiatric Medicine. Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques. Awareness and understanding of regulating bodies (CARF, Office of Mental Health, DDAP); strong background in Psychiatric or D&A and Co-Occurring Disorders; knowledge of HIPAA laws, state licensing regulations, trainings as required. Strong computer skills required in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
