Your expertise will help shape supportive educational experiences while working alongside a cohesive multidisciplinary team. Key Qualifications: Current certification as a School Psychologist Experience with student evaluations and assessments Strong knowledge of school-based special education procedures Ability to effectively participate in ARD meetings and collaborate with educational staff Skilled in reviewing and interpreting psychological and psycho-educational evaluations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Previous work in a school setting preferred Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for students in elementary schools, in partnership with a diagnostician Provide guidance, interpretation, and recommendations based on evaluation results for use by ARD committees Attend and participate in ARDs, supporting the review and development of individualized education programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to ensure student needs are met Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district policies and regulations Support school initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment This position is focused on comprehensive assessments-no counseling will be required.
