Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Operating Room Tech/CST Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of OR experience required License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA Certified OR Tech required Must-Have: Must have at least 2-3 years of OR experience. Must be confident in the following specialties: orthopedics, urology, gynecology, vascular, general, and neuro spine. Da Vinci XI Robot experience is required.Description: The position requires floating between units. On-call is required, averaging 1 day per week and 1 weekend in a 6-week schedule. Weekends are required, on-call only. Block schedules are required. Expected ratios are 1:1. Daily average surgical case volume is 30. Emergency coverage of the OB OR may be needed with support. Interdisciplinary support is provided. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Must have experience in the following specialties: orthopedic (including spine, total joints, and trauma), neuro spine, urology, gynecology, uro-gyn, general, and vascular. Robotics experience (Da Vinci XI) is required. References are required from the last 3 years covering at least 1 year of experience. Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities.
