Your New Role: As an Electrical Foreman at PorterMatt Electric Inc., you’ll be the cornerstone of our project teams. Your responsibilities include: Overseeing and managing electrical construction projects to ensure they meet deadlines and budget constraints. Enforcing OSHA guidelines and using safety-specific software to maintain top-notch safety standards. Supervising and supporting a team of electricians, ensuring they deliver high-quality work. Managing project budgets, labor, and materials efficiently. Reviewing blueprints and schematics to guarantee precise installations. Implementing quality control measures to maintain our reputation for excellence. Coordinating seamlessly with general contractors, subcontractors, and clients. Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues with your expert knowledge. Communicating effectively with project managers, superintendents, and team members to achieve project milestones. You have a solid understanding of electrical codes and installation methods. You have experience with commercial new construction projects, including ground-up, shell, T/I, and remodels. You’re capable of managing electrical budgets from $700k to $3+ million. You excel at ordering and tracking materials, performing labor projections, and developing “as-builts.” You’re committed to providing top-notch customer service even in high-stress situations. Ability to manage crews of 8-25 electricians. Experience with electrical budgets ranging from $700k to $3+ million. Strong background in commercial projects, including new construction and remodels. Ability to effectively order and track materials, perform labor projections, and develop “as-builts.” Solid understanding of electrical codes and installation methods. Well-versed in installing general power systems, including lighting, lighting control, refrigeration power/controls, Single-Line, and Utility UG. Ability to work in a high-stress environment and maintain focus on providing high-level customer service. OSHA-30 for Foreman (training provided if not already certified). Journeyman License (preferred but not required). Ability to relocate to Los Angeles County, CA before starting work. Willingness to travel 50% of the time preferred.
