Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.Required Skills & Required Experience8+ years of experience in water resources engineering for transportation projectsBachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related fieldLicensed Professional Engineer in Maryland, or the ability to obtain licensure within 12 monthsStrong written and oral communication skills with proven ability to work in a collaborative team environmentProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience preparing plans, technical reports, and engineering calculationsStrong knowledge of water resources engineering, including drainage, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, stream restoration, bridge scour, outfall design, and TMDL requirementsAssist in developing scope and fee proposalsExhibited client coordination skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionParticipation in project pursuits and other business development effortsProficiency in MicroStation. Familiarity with InRoads or OpenRoads Designer preferredProficient in Microsoft Office products including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.Knowledge of Maryland Department of Transportation Modals, Maryland counties, and local municipalitiesExperience working with MDE, Familiarity with SHA guidelines and procedures is beneficialProficiency with hydraulic and hydrologic (H&H) modeling software including TR-20, TR-55, HydroCAD and HY-8. Experience in ABSCOUR, HEC-18, HY-8, HEC-2, HEC-HMS, and HEC-RAS desired but not required*The salary range for this position is 114,000 to 147,000*#LI-BS1Don’t meet every single requirement?
