Senior Transportation Construction Inspector

Job Overview Senior Transportation Construction Inspector – responsible for field inspection duties and maintaining project records for Locally Administered Projects in the Northern Virginia region. Responsibilities and Duties Verify that all work performed is in accordance with plans and contractual specifications. Measure and verify pay quantities, dimensions, and specifications. Act as a liaison between LAP program administrators and the prime contractor. Compile daily field reports and maintain the project materials notebook. Generate monthly estimates based on field data. Qualifications Valid driver’s license. Availability to work nights, overtime, and weekends as needed. Independent work capability with strong teamwork skills. Background check clearance required. Minimum 5+ years of transportation construction experience, ideally within the State of Virginia. Preferred: full VDOT certifications. Partial VDOT certifications considered based on prior project experience.
