A global entertainment company is seeking a bilingual (Japanese-English) Marketing Associate to support marketing initiatives across North America and Latin America.
This role focuses on social media, promotional campaigns, and event-based marketing activities to drive brand awareness and support licensed content and merchandise. The position will work closely with internal teams, international stakeholders, and external partners. Key Responsibilities

A global entertainment company is seeking a bilingual (Japanese-English) Marketing Associate to support marketing initiatives across North America and Latin America.
This role focuses on social media, promotional campaigns, and event-based marketing activities to drive brand awareness and support licensed content and merchandise. The position will work closely with internal teams, international stakeholders, and external partners. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and support marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness
- Manage and assist with social media and experiential marketing activities
- Analyze trends and insights to support marketing strategies
- Coordinate and support cross-promotional initiatives with partners
- Track distribution and licensing plans as needed
- Prepare presentations and marketing materials
- Attend and support industry events and conventions (approximately 3 times per year)
- Collaborate with internal teams and international stakeholders to obtain approvals
- Review and support marketing asset approvals from third-party partners
- Minimum 3 years of relevant marketing experience
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
- Understanding of Japanese business culture
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree required
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) is a plus
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business needs
- Ability to work at industry events and conventions
- Interest or experience in entertainment or related industries
- Passion for anime or pop culture
