We’re looking for a detail-driven, people-minded Post Closer (Records Specialist) who takes pride in precision, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands that great systems create great experiences.

Compensation:

$25 - $27 hourly

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do

As a Post Closer at Black Oak Title, you’ll be trusted with the final stewardship of our files and records. Your work ensures compliance, protects our clients, and supports our lenders, agents, and internal teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Communicating with clients and lenders through Qualia in a clear, professional, and timely manner
• Managing post-closing disbursements and following up on outgoing items to ensure completion
• Organizing, maintaining, and safeguarding physical and digital records
• Ensuring all files are accurate, complete, and up to date
• Retrieving files as requested by internal team members and clients
• Creating and indexing new records as needed
• Performing data entry with a high degree of accuracy and consistency
• Assisting with and improving record management policies and procedures to help us get 1% better every day

Qualifications:

• Bring a college degree (BA or equivalent experience) and a solid foundation to build on
• Enjoy people — teammates, clients, lenders, and agents — and understand that relationships matter

• Have experience in title processing, mortgage lending, or real estate, and understand how small details carry big consequences
• Are reliable, independent, and accountable — you own your work from start to finish
• Communicate clearly and confidently, with strong research, analytical, written, and verbal skills
• Are comfortable using technology and systems like G Suite and Qualia, and open to learning new tools
• Take real pride in accuracy and attention to detail, knowing your work protects everyone involved
• Have a growth mindset — curious, adaptable, and always willing to learn something new
