Digital Designer

About the Role

In this role, you'll be responsible for crafting engaging and impactful presentations using PowerPoint and graphic design tools, bringing ideas to life through compelling design and storytelling techniques. If you're adept at transforming complex information into visually stunning and persuasive presentations, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Presentation Design: Create visually appealing and effective presentations for a variety of purposes, including business meetings and internal communications.
• Content Enhancement: Collaborate with content creators to refine and improve the visual representation of ideas. Simplify complex information through infographics, charts, and diagrams.
• Event & Collateral Design: Develop flyers, agendas, branding materials, and employee handbooks for events and internal use.
• Creative Mindset: Bring fresh, innovative ideas to projects and stay current with design trends, tools and technologies to continuously improve your skills and stay innovative.
• Independent Work: Manage projects autonomously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality.
• Template Development: Design and maintain presentation templates that align with our brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all materials.
• Visual Storytelling: Use your design skills to convey narratives and messages effectively, making the content engaging and memorable.
• Animation and Interactivity: Incorporate animations, transitions, and interactive elements to elevate the overall presentation experience.
• Quality Control: Review and proofread presentations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to design standards.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their objectives and design presentations that meet their needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite 365 and Canva.
• Strong design portfolio showcasing presentation and marketing collateral design work.
• Excellent visual design skills, including typography, color, and layout.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Highly Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
• Ability to create and edit video content using professional editing software

Pay range and work schedule

Starting hourly rate | $19.00 p/hr

Part-time & hybrid | 20 hours per week | 4 days in-office and 1 remote working day
